NFL Picks Week 13
Check out NFL picks for what promises an amazing and lucky week 13 in the National Football League.
NFL Week 13 Picks – Thursday, Dec. 1
Buffalo Bills -4.5 at New England Patriots – 8:15 p.m. ET
Ah, the England Patriots Thursday NFL game is back for the first of our week 13 picks! On Thanksgiving, the good old New England Patriots, Bill “Sweater Dude” Belichick’s squad, lost a tough game versus the Vikings last Thursday. But Bill’s team did score a lot of points against the solid Vikings defense.
This Thursday, the Pats play Josh Allen and a rival Bills side that is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 and the spread win came versus a Jacoby Brissett-led Browns franchise. Buffalo wanted to win the AFC’s top seed but the Kansas City Chiefs appear well on their way to grabbing it.
The Bills do want to win the AFC East and the AFC Championship. So a victory over the Patriots is a must. Still, the Pats play this at Foxboro.
NFL Thursday Pick
New England +4.5
NFL Week 13 Picks – Sunday, Dec. 4
Cleveland Browns -7 at Houston Texans – 1:00 p.m ET
Deshaun Watson is a hands on quarterback. So the Cleveland Browns offense should play much better in this game than it has all season long. Not only that, but Deshaun faces his former team. Watson will want to punish his old team, no doubt.
The Houston Texans Sunday team fields zero offense and Rock City is a half-a-point from going 4-1 ATS in their last 5 and possibly being on a four games winning streak. Also, let’s not kid ourselves. The Browns running game should decimate Houston’s D because the Texans are one of the worst teams, if not the worst, in the NFL at the moment, and we have to take that into account with NFL betting.
NFL Week 13 Best Picks
Cleveland -7
Washington Commanders -2.5 at New York Giants – 1 p.m ET
Sometimes, it makes sense to follow the money. The money right now is flowing to the Washington Commanders in leaps and bounds because the Commanders are a good team, one of the NFC’s true playoff contenders.
The Commanders went from a -1 favorite to a -2.5 favorite. That should be pro player dollars, which means the New York Giants should be in some trouble. The York Giants Sunday performance will disappoint.
NFL Week 13 Best Picks
Washington -2.5
Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions -1 – 1 p.m ET
Jags versus Lions is a sneaky good matchup. The Detroit Lions Sunday warriors are just 2-4 ATS at home. Jacksonville is 1-4 against the spread on the road. It’s easy to pick the Lions in this after they played so well last week against the Bills.
Detroit almost pulled off the upset victory against the Buffalo Bills. However, the Jags’ D is playing much better in recent games, holding Baltimore and Kansas City to 27 points in their last two games. Jacksonville beat Baltimore in their last. The Jaguars’ D gets them the win.
NFL Week 13 Pick
Jacksonville -1
New York Jets at Minnesota Vikings -3 – 1 p.m ET
We will never question New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh again. The J-E-T-S HC benched Zach Wilson in favor of Mike White and he provided a massive boost to the Jets offense. There’s one Mike White in the league. So, yeah, that guy.
Last week, White dominated Chicago’s defense. He won’t dominate the Minnesota Vikings. But M-Dub might keep this game closer than many Vikings’ fan hope because Minny comes off of a brutally tough 33-26 win against the Patriots. The Jets defense is legit.
In one of Sunday’s best games, the Jets are the play.
NFL Week 13 Pick
NYJ +3
Pittsburgh Steelers -1.5 at Atlanta Falcons – 1 p.m ET
Only one of the teams in this is playing off a short week. The other one of the teams had a full seven days to recover. The squad that had a chance to recover for a full week is the play against.
The Atlanta Falcons continue to stay alive for the NFC South title. The reason? The Panthers, Saints, and Buccaneers are all atrocious.
Marcus Mariota is no Tom Brady. But at least he didn’t demand a trade, take a bunch of money, and play lousy like Russell did up in Denver. Mariota is an okay backup and it’s showing.
The Pittsburgh Steelers rookie QB Kenny Pickett is legit. The dude, and he does look like a dude, led the Steelers last week to a win over the Indianapolis Colts this past Monday night.
Look, Indy is bad. We all know this. But the Colts’ D is fantastic so we have to give Kenny props. The home team in this should be in some trouble even if they head into this off a short week.
NFL Week 13 Best Picks
Pittsburgh -1.5
Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens -8.5 – 1 p.m ET
Two teams, one with playoff, heck, Super Bowl aspirations step onto the M&T Bank Field. The Baltimore Ravens won’t catch Kansas City for the AFC’s 1-seed.
The Denver Broncos are just trying to salvage the season with a record, any record, that keeps them from the first pick in April’s Draft. Things are so bad, Denver is thinking about how to get out of Russell Wilson’s contract. Things are so awful, the Carolina Panthers beat Denver, yes, the Panthers, like the one M. White, there’s only one Carolina franchise in the NFL.
NFL Week 13 Pick
Baltimore -8.5
Tennessee Titans at Philadelphia Eagles -5.5 – 1 p.m ET
This about the time of the season when oddsmakers set lines on really good teams like the Philadelphia Eagles that lead to non-covers, especially, in a massive game like this.
The Eagles keep winning, but they are struggling big time to cover spreads. Then again, the Philadelphia Eagles are one of the better covering home teams in the NFL.
Laying 5.5 on the Tennessee Titans feels like the wrong play. The Eagles have gone 1-3 ATS in their last 4. The cover versus the Packers last Sunday night came by half-a-point.
Philadelphia allows 120.7 rushing yards each time they step onto he field. So Titans’ monster Derrick Henry should have a great game.
NFL Week 13 Pick
Tennessee +5.5
Green Bay Packers -5.5 at Chicago Bears – 1 p.m ET
This is not the normal Packers versus Bears game. Both teams aren’t playing well in 2022.
Will it be a Chicago Bears Sunday? Probably not because the Chicago Bears don’t play much defense. Neither do the Green Bay Packers. But Justin Fields has a busted shoulder and didn’t step onto the American football pitch last week.
At this point, it’s not clear if Justin plays. If the Chicago QB can’t step onto the Soldier Field grass, GB wins and covers.
NFL Week 13 Pick
Green Bay -5.5
Miami Dolphins at San Francisco 49ers -3.5 – 4:05 p.m. ET
The San Francisco 49ers have won four games straight. During the streak, San Francisco has gone 3-1 against the spread.
The Miami Dolphins have scored 31, 35, 39, and 30 in their last few games. Yeah, but those fancy numbers came versus the Lions, Bears, Browns, and Texans. The Niners D should contain Tua and his receivers. This is especially true because the 49ers’ know Mike McDaniel’s offensive system.
This is a great game that could go either way but has us landing on the Niners for our NFL week 13 picks, because of SF’s D.
NFL Week 13 Pick
San Francisco -3.5
Seattle Seahawks -7.5 at Los Angeles Rams – 4:05 p.m. ET
On paper, this should be a good game. But it’s not. The Seattle Seahawks are the much better team.
In addition, for the first time in his career, Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald must skip a game. Also, Los Angeles starting quarterback Matthew Stafford is likely out.
The Seahawks offense should have no trouble racking up points. Geno and the Emerald Gang grab another win and cover.
NFL Week 13 Pick
Seattle -7.5
Los Angeles Chargers -1.5 at Las Vegas Raiders – 4:25 p.m. ET
This will be a much closer game than many though. Four weeks ago, the Bolts would have been -7.5 chalks.
Historically, the Los Angeles Chargers versus Las Vegas Raiders used to be the San Diego Bolts versus the Los Angeles or Oakland Raiders.
In any case, LV has played two fantastic games but both were in overtime. A Raider seems more than probable. But even then, Josh Jacobs is killing it and the Bolts field the worst rush defense in the league.
We’re rolling the dice on Las Vegas.
NFL Week 13 Pick
Las Vegas +1.5
Kansas City Chiefs -2.5 at Cincinnati Bengals – 4:25 p.m. ET
The best game on paper for our NFL week 13 picks centers around a pair of top quarterbacks. Before getting into that, we should speak the truth.
KC might be the best team in the league. But even though you’re the best, it doesn’t mean he easily cover spreads.
The Chiefs are a terrible 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games. The Cincinnati Bengals are a terrific 8-1 ATS in their last 9 and head into this off a stunning road win against then scorching Tennessee last week.
This happens in Ohio. Ja’Marr Chase should play. So the Cincinnati Bengals will have a shot at the straight up win. Joe Burrow and Cincinnati is this week’s fourth best bet and Burro to Chase could be good for two to three touchdowns.
NFL Week 13 Best Picks
Cincinnati +2.5
Indianapolis Colts at Dallas Cowboys -10.5 – 8:20 p.m. ET
Stop with the negativity around Indy head coach Jeff Saturday. The Midwestern Ponies are playing much better than they did before.
Dallas is winning but they aren’t covering a lot of spread. The key in this game is whether the Indianapolis Colts defense can stop Dak and the Dallas Cowboys ridiculous offense.
Mike McCarthy figures to call a somewhat conservative game. If the Boys can win by 10 points, MM will be happy.
NFL Sunday Night Pick
Indianapolis +10.5
NFL Week 13 Picks – Monday, Dec. 5
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3.5 – 8:15 p.m. ET
Wow. Back-to-back NFL Monday Night games between sorry teams with no shot of winning the Super Bowl.
Last Monday night we got to see the Steelers take on the Colts. This Monday night we get the pleasure of watching the New Orleans Saints and Buccaneers throw down in what should be an intriguing but laughable affair.
Saints versus Buccaneers shouldn’t be as bad of a game as Pittsburgh versus Indianapolis but it could be almost as bad.
In this first game between these two, the Buccaneers won. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have no business not dominating the lowly Saints in the rematch. But the Orleans Saints have Terrific Tom’s number. He often fails versus the Saints during the regular season.
This feels like a 3-points game. But we’re not sure either way. So in the last of our NFL week 13 picks we’ll take the 3.5 on N’Awlins, but if you agree with us, know we’re doing it grudgingly.
NFL Monday Pick
New Orleans +3.5
